LIC. RICARDO DEL MONTE NÚÑEZ

He has a law degree (1983) and a Masters degree (2015) both by the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California. He is currently in the Doctorate in law program, at the Tijuana campus of the Instituto de Investigaciones Jurídicas of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.

 

He practiced law as an attorney until 1994, when he obtained the position of Notario Público 8 of Tijuana, upon winning the opposition contest held to that effect, and has practiced as such until this date.

 

He is a full member of the Colegio de Notarios del Estado de Baja California, where he has discharged several responsibilities, including President of the Board. He is also a full member of the Colegio Nacional del Notariado Mexicano, where he is also a member of the Fiscal Commission.

 

He has taught International law (Universidad Iberoamericana del Noroeste), General theory of obligations (Universidad Autónoma de Baja California), Notarial and Recording law (Universidad de Tijuana) and has been director of the Instituto de Capacitación y Actualización Notarial ICAN, of the Colegio de Notarios del Estado de Baja California.

 

He has been a speaker in several forums, both social and academic, and is also author of several articles for the continuing knowledge of the law.

 

His areas of interest are: Civil law, Fiscal law, Hereditary law, Notarial law, Constitutional law and matters related to territorial ordainment.

 

He is bilingual (English and Spanish), can read and translate French and Italian, and is currently studying German.

 

He is the head of the office and Incumbent Notario 8 of Tijuana since 1994.
